Thaw XI
April 19 - April 20
FORMAT: Shuffle (72 players, teams randomly drawn, A-B-C style)
Welcome to THAW 11! This will be the 11th annual Eastside Thaw, a shuffle tournament hosted by DC Bike Polo out of Washington, DC, USA! It’ll be 72 players split into 24 teams (each with an A, B, and C player). 12 minute games, 3v3 on Saturday; 30 minute games, squad on Sunday.
Minimum of 10 games (max 16) over the course of 2 days!
Players enter through a lottery system (closes February 14 @ 23:59). The lottery will be drawn on Feb 18 and emailed at midnight. Rankings will be announced and teams will be drawn at the tournament.
We’ll be organizing room deals at the historic Red Horse Inn (0.5 miles from the courts) so lodging can be a little easier.
We will have a welcome party on Friday April 18 (location TBD) where we can all make new friends and see old ones. We will reveal rankings and draw teams there.
