We are doing it again!

Looking for a polo tournament because you just want to hang out with some of the coolest ppl ever? We got you! Come to Lexington’s Oktoberfest Shuffle. Lots of polo, newbie friendly game modifiers, German food and games, pretzel necklaces, biking pretzel tour, Homebrew…be prepared for fun.

Format: Join us Friday for registration party and pick-up at the courts, a traditional 1L stein-holding competition for prizes, and player photos. Saturday be ready for “”organized”” pickup with fun game modifiers!; ~5 rounds with different ABBC/ABC teams every time. C-players draft teams immediately after the last round. Pick-up and a biking pretzel tour starting from the courts to follow; team announcements at afterparty (~8:30pm). Sunday will work 4-5 rounds of seeding with your new team with a quick (top 6-8 teams) single elimination.

– Refs – maybe???? – re-read the first point if this gives you pause
– Player Superlatives Awards – hell yea!
– Podium – ehhhh… do we really need one? We are here to welcome all new players into the community.
– Food: Light breakfast will be served on Saturday and Sunday. We will provide Oktoberfest style lunch on Sunday: think brats and such. All other food not mentioned above you will need to purchase on your own. There are plenty of good spots within walking/biking distance from the courts. Each spot along the pretzel tour will have food and drinks available for purchase.
