Muitos anos se passaram, e esses guerreiros ainda continuam lutando! E para celebrar, não apenas essa luta, mas como todo o valor histórico do 1º de maio, entraremos em quadra para mostrar que somos a “nova Roma de Bravos Guerreiros”.
Por isso, convocamos todos os poleiros e poleiras para participar do Primeiro Campeonato de Bici Polo do Recife.
Quando? 1º de maio. E como nada é por acaso, a data cai em uma quarta-feira, vê que fulerageeemmmmm….

We are happy to announce that the 3rd edition of our tournament is being held from may 3rd until my 5th, 2024.
We will start on Friday at 3:00 p.m. in order to get a decent amount of games and not too much stress into the weekend.
Debate is still being held considering the format, we are open to making it 4v4 if that’s what’s wanted.
We have lights so there will be pickups after the games each day.
The rest is kinda same procedure as the years before. There are camp spaces available right on the court and campers can be parked up front under the trees. Bathrooms, showers and water available.
Music, cold drinks for cheap at the court and at least one BBQ for everyone to use. It’s probs gonna be more than one, though.
Grocery stores and bakery in walking/cycling distance.
We will have breakfast available. We will see about lunch…

Great Glen Open Vol.2 preparation is underway. Lots of work to be done, but so many of you have been in touch asking for dates so here they are.

Location: Merkinch Primary School, Inverness
Format: ABC
The main difference from last year is that we’re opting for ABC. Stay tuned for more information, including the all important registration!

Like you we think there are not enough tournaments announced for 2024 so come to Prague in May, we are putting together a little something fun for you all to enjoy !
Sorry this is not a proposal for Euros or whbpc24, as we only have one small court and a lot of seriously fun rules change ideas for each games to spice things up…
It will likely be at our local court, parking can be arranged on site, we probably can host most of you (but TBC depending on nb of ppl), there will certainly be some food, bbq, quality Braník and other non-alcoholic refreshments available at the court!
Still more things to be confirmed: format, sign-up, registration date, number of teams etc… but for now save the date:

To ensure the least amount of fun possible, all teams must consist of three players who have never competed in a tournament with one another before. This means anyone you have played in a TWO day tournament with (does not include mixers and single-day events). If you’re unsure, let’s chat.

- $90 per team
- 16 Team Cap

Registration will open for 2 days in late Feb/early March. If necessary I will then hold a lottery for all available spots.
Prizes are on their way in, a trophy is being made, but the biggest prize is already set. The winners will be allowed to return next year and defend their title against a whole new group of Virgin teams.
