A shuffle tournament, also known as a “Mixer”, is one where players are assigned to a team randomly. Sometimes organizers will handpick teams to make the tournament more evenly matched. These tournaments tend to be more beginner-friendly allowing newer players the chance to player with the best players and go deeper in the bracket.
